Dream Topic No.1 - School

This post will probably amuse you (excuse the sophisticated language) since I'll be sharing details to you all of a few of my peculiar dreams to do with school instead of just blabbing on about the yada yada nonsense and annoying you all with my previous sophisticated language, which I have decided to cease, so that I can give off a more casual atmosphere...

...anywho, let's on with it. What goes through your mind when someone says the word 'school'? For some of you it might be your teachers (nasty and nice) or that geography test you have tomorrow, which determines this term's grades, that you haven't revised for; but for others it could be friends, extra-curricular activities and epic art projects. You might have dreams about or to do with your school - I'd say that the most common dream is when you show up to school in your Bob the Builder pyjamas or in your underwear!
Strangely, I've never had a dream like that - but instead, my brain decides to find out what my maths lesson would be like when the Hulk charges through the doors and takes the teacher with him out through the window.

... I need an explanation for this... NOW!

Hehe... if your thought that dream was weird, then BRACE YOURSELVES!

'Vegetable Soup'
My friends and I were enjoying a simple Food Tech lesson, which was a practical, and we were making a small pot of vegetable soup. I had realized that I had forgotten my ingredients, so my 4 pals clicked their fingers and they were each wearing a different vegetable costume: a long haired girl with sophisticated glasses as a red pepper; a wacky, talkative girl as a carrot; a blonde animal lover (who is a great singer) as an ordinary potato; and a short-haired brunette with glasses as a tomato - wait, is that even a vegetable?! Lastly, I concluded the dream with my teacher sitting in a giant serving bowl with a talking wooden spoon... now that has permanently scarred me...

Back in the day...
One boring day we (the class) were in an English lesson listening to our Irish teacher (Irish as in that's where he's from) go on about something to do with 'When he was boy...' until we were unexpectedly taken back in time to a year in the 80s and a different school, where we saw all of our teachers as teenagers sitting in a classroom, looking like idiots - the men had bright pinks faces as if they had just come out from a piping hot bath, and the ladies had small ponytails with Tellytubbie hair ties. The school that they were in obviously had no sense of style ; see-through blouses and bright stripey tights (like Santa's elves) with long lacey skirts for the girls and orange lederhosen and pink beanie hats for the boys! Soon the headmistress of the school (whom I didn't recognise) burst into the classroom with a cane and headed straight over to me...
That's when I woke up... great timing!

Remember: Those were only two of my strangest dreams - my future posts will have more dreams, with different topics!

Bubbles of thought...

I remember many dreams - old and new. I could list them all if I had enough paper. Dreams of celebration and love... and nightmares. Those evil dreams of fear and death, of loneliness and of being forgotten. I've had many dreams. But I never seem to understand why, or what they mean. To be honest, I don't know how to describe the word 'dream', although I could say that they're bubbles of thought - exploding in my sleep, giving my brain the task to put the pieces of the puzzle back together...
...although I don't think that my brain does a great job at it!

Nowadays (weeks, months) most of my dreams, even a few nightmares, have the most weirdest endings - the Hulk bursting in through the classroom doors and whisking away my maths teacher; some of my best friends suddenly changing from their uniforms to vegetable costumes... this list can go on forever! (I need some brain training...)

Even though they're not what I expected, it does give me something to talk about at lunch with my friends - we end up having a whale of a time, laughing our heads off everyday (you should hear some of their dreams)! The thought of some of the ones we've discussed still makes me smile. Heh, what our brains can do while we're asleep...
